Ducy is just really nice
Ok just because your taking bcp to treat pmdd or pms symptoms doesn't mean it won't protect you.

Second off, the odds of you already showing symptoms of pregnancy so soon are fairly low. And sperm only survives a max of 7 days in a womans body. So let's look at this mathematically. 2 weeks =14 days...14 is greater than 7...sperm are dead.

As far as the stopping the bcp. Was that your medical diagnoses or your doctor diagnosing the pills as the cause for depression? It seems fairly strange that he would just kick you off the pill and not give you a new rx. My ex went through 6 types. Each time she was given another rx from her doc. She wasn't told to just "stop" and not take anything else.

also why in the hell didn't you stop immediately? You weren't in a monogamous long term relationship. You knew the guy 3 weeks. I doubt you were both tested, and if you didn't think the bcp was "strong enough" since it was just for headaches, then why would you let him keep going?

Do some reading around the site. Especiall the bcp stickies and the new to sex stickies. Methinks you need some sexual education before you continue with any activities

There is a sticky titled Caution:Take Only as Directed. Read it and it will explain how the bcp works. The first question is how regularly were you taking the pill or were you a bit careless? Taking the pill off and on places you at greater risk of pregnancy.

Birth control pills are exactly that whether you were taking them for headaches (?), dysmennorhea or protection. Yes, they are all now "low dose" but it is what is needed to prevent pregnancy.

The rest will require a pregnancy test and/or a trip to the doctor. If you arbitrarily stopped on your own, the doctor should know that. How did you determine, definitively, that the pill was causing depression? A guess? A friend? Your doctor?

These pills are not candy; they are medication for the body. You should change patterns with the advice of the prescriber. It could simply be going off the pill that is creating symptoms. Get some medical help in sorting this out.
