Condom broke during ejaculation

I had a pretty unfortunate experience. Apparently the condom's tip broke when I ejaculated during a sexual intercourse. This was nothing but weird and unexpected, and I was lucky enough to not having had penetrative act at that time.

I do wonder what could have caused this. I have worn condoms of the same brand a lot of times before and it has never failed me so miserably. Could this be caused by the continuous hand-job I was getting, up to the point of ejaculation itself? Could the non-stop stroking somehow apply too much pressure on the tip, causing it to explode once I came?

Please share your opinions, and if you ever had any case similar to this.

Not having been there, I have no idea what went wrong.

Do the condoms you mention have a built-in reservoir in the tip, or must you pinch off the tip in order to make one?

I recommend applying some lubricant to the glans of your penis in order to improve sensitivity, and, to give the penis more wiggle room thus reducing the stress on the condom.

The friction and stresses from a handjob are greater than the condom experiences in a vagina. It is most likely that she worked the condom down further onto your shaft and the reservoir tip finally stretched to the breaking point.

I'm not entirely sure what you are implying. It was just a regular condom with the tip part hanging upwards.

Are you sure about that? Is it better to stop handjobing once I feel like ejaculating? (Cause I like when it goes on even after that point for a few seconds).
