Sterile Men Getting Women Pregnant

I spoke to a midwife about contraception a few weeks ago, and asked her about my boyfriend's disorder - sperm can't get out (some issue with hairs inside his penis, I don't get it).

She told me this story about a current patient who has a 0 sperm count on all his tests and he got his partner pregnant.

Is she just trying to scare me because he could be lying/might be wrong etc? Or is this possible?

Brandye is a jewel in the rough
Men with very low sperm counts may occasionally register a zero, usually not. No idea what the midwife was talking about. Stay protected until you want a child. Strange things happen. Clinically sterile may not equal absolutely sterile.

Somehow or another, this thread makes me want to say, "the proof of the pudding is in the baby-making" but that just seems so wrong!

Thanks. I'm on a contraceptive pill now. Being pregnant worries me a LOT.
