I am on bc pills and I was sick during this month and took antibiotics cause i was getting ready to go vacation and it had to be gone. The pills I take have the sugar pills that go wednesday to Saturday when I have a period. I had sex two days before the start of my period pills and my period didn't start until like mid day Friday which is kinda of late cause I usually at least start a little bit on thursday. Anyway, even when it came on friday, it wasn't really much of anything in the way of flow and saturday should have been heavier and I had barely anything. I'm already on my new pack today (sunday) and i still have like barely any period. I'm just worried cause I usually get much more of a period and it usually lasts at least 3 days. Could i be pregnant or should I worry? We used spermicidal condoms and I've been on the pill for two years now.

On the pill and with condoms, the chances are very low that you are pregnant. The antibiotics can negate the effectiveness of the pill. With that disruption and an infection in your system, your period could be a very light one. Most women on the pill do occasionally have light, or even no, periods every once in a while.

Any time a penis is in a vagina, there is a possibility. The spermicidal condoms are good for lubrication but there is not enough spermicide in your vagina to be effective. In a similar situation in future, use vaginal spermicide along with the condom.
