So I went to go visit my boyfriend (unfortunately we are doing long distance) and I am always anal about taking my pill on time give or take a few minutes and every time but twice we wore condoms. A week after the last time we had sex I got my period and everything was normal. One of my breasts has been sore for the past 2 days. Just the top of it really and I took a test this morning. Which was 17 days after the last time I had sex. So I know i am past the 10 days after conception when the test is accurate and reliable.

Is it possible that my breast hurting is just something else? Or that there still aren't yet enough hormones in my system. I know to some this might seem like I am over reacting, which I know I am since my chance is so slim I just got worried

Quite possibly. It can also be a side effect of the pill.

Mine have been hurting like crazy, as since starting the pill I lost 20lbs and went up a cup size (so far)
