Could I be pregnant?
So, about two months ago my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. He blew his load in me. I have gotten my period the past couple months but they were not on time and were really short. Like three days. I always have mine on time and they last at least six days. Could I be pregnant? If so is this something to be worried about?
Edited to add: I also had very very bad cramps and I NEVER get cramps. Last edited by xsweetnothingsx; 03-30-2009 at 11:21 AM.. |

Any time you have had a penis in your vagina pregnancy is possible. And some women have been known to have periods during pregnancy. The cramps are irrelevant; some women develop them as they mature; most have their cramps decrease as they mature.
The chances of your being pregnant are low. Perhaps worrying a bit is an object lesson for you. For mature, sexually active women that is an issue we face each month because there is no absolutely perfect system for contraception. Learning to live with that bit of uncertainty is part of our maturing process. Go buy a home pregnancy test and follow the directions precisely. No more unprotected sex until you want to be a mother.

Brandye is right, its a low chance you are.
You can get 'spotting' which is bleeding when pregnant, it can be mistaken for a period but it tends to be light red and is tiny in amount compared to a period. And yeh the cramps can really be anything. You should wait until your ready, and if you are ready for a child then look for signs like, tiredness, hunger, lack of period, spotting, short-tempered, hardened lower abdomine and morning sickness or feeling dizzy. Have you been having your perios for two years now? You need to look at your personal life if you are not pregnant but the periods continue to be erractic. Stress can consequent in irregular periods. good luck |

The only true form of birth control is abstinence... seriously I was on birth control and I am now 5 months pregnant. Now first of all the obvious solution to your question is if you're worried about it get a friggin' test!!!!!!! However to answer the question YES it is possible that you are pregnant! Even when you are pregnant you still have bleeding. Some women have their "periods" all the way up until birth. But get a test c'mon if you're really that worried about it and you haven't already that seems really stupid to me.
