I assume you are trying to have a baby; however, if you are asking these questions, you still have much to learn and this is concerning. And have you both considered marriage & the means to care for a child? Yes, men like to have a son but find they are most happy to have a happy healthy baby, regardless of the gender.
I would say it sounds as if No, she is not pregnant. Just repeat the test again to be certain. You both need to talk & be certain you both are ready to care & support a child together--fully.

Out of curiosity, why is it that you were having sex with your previous gf, at the age of ~17 at the earliest, without a condom for so long per your post in sexual health: men? What makes you think that you have changed so much or that the new relationship is so different to be prepared to have a child?

NEVER TRUST ANY WOMAN WHO TELLS YOU THEY CANNOT GET PREGNANT! THIS IS RULE #1.
Okay why are you not looking to get married yet want to have a child? How do you plan on being a parent to the child [helping with raising the kid] not just work? House? Cars? Education? Clothing? Food? Etc.

You two clearly have a lot to learn about pregnancy and child bearing before you have any business having kids. She would not be showing the signs of pregnancy yet that you seem to think you are seeing, such as eating a lot.
Just because you are apparently out of college and working does not mean you have the maturity and abilities necessary to raise a child. You should consider the fact that you are still 19 and at an age where people experience a lot of growth and change, are you sure that you are ready to devout your life to your girlfriend and a child? These are things you should be considering before worrying about trying to get pregnant. |
