need a guys point of view about baby making
Alright not sure if this is the right place to post this, but we are planning to start a family. How do I make it really enjoyable for him and help him let loose and not focus it all on the baby aspect? I have heard to guys they can feel pressured, stressed, and such when they know they are performing for this. We both do really want to have children and are on the same page, but he has alot of performance anxiety it seems and has a hard time letting go. TIA

Great advice from the above reply. Really, making a baby (unless you are a couple battling to conceive) should be no different to your normal sex life, should you want to you can even spice up your next time together by doing what ever 'rocks your/his boat".
My wife has recently informed me that we are expecting our second child and I can confirm that this (the conception) was every bit as fun as most other opportunities to have sex with my wife. The fact that it probably happened while on holiday where we made love infront of an open firplace at every opportunity is an absolute bonus. I wish you every success and mutual enjoyment! |

When trying to become pregnant, the recommended pacing is once every two or three days. That maximizes the opportunity to hit a fertile time and gives the man an opportunity to restock his sperm supply.
I am with Newtolove. Just carry on. If it does not work in six month or so, you may want to do some scheduling.

He should not feel pressured in this aspect. Something is wrong either with him, with your relationship, or with your sex life if he feels performance anxiety when you want to get pregnant. Did you two have regular intercourse before you decided to have a child? |
