So recently I've stumbled upon many adult stores carrying these cloning kits. Essentially creating a reproduction of your own penis. Some kits include a vibrator insert as well.
Has anyone used them? I was wondering what kind of compound is used to make the "toy", is it semi-rigid or soft?

A friend of mine had good results. The way it works is you put a putty around your junk to make a mold, then when the mold hardens (about 10 minutes) you pour the actual dildo material in to the mold and then let that dry overnight. Then you crack the mold off (he just simply dropped it on the table) and there's your new toy!
This was a few years ago and they have since broken up, so I don't know how 'rugged' the resulting dildo is. I'd say it's pretty much the same as the real deal since the materials used are almost exactly the same, if not *the* same.
The compound is soft but hardens rather fast. The dildo turns out like a rubber dong.
Ended up giving it a shot. If anyone else buys one, keep this in mind: have someone to help. I was challenged by staying properly erect and mixing the compound for the mold (it sets within 2 minutes), by the time it was stirred and poured into the "tube" I'd lost my hard on. 80 bucks down the drain.
I'm going to go out to craft stores tomorrow and try to find some alginate based molding compound to retry as to not completely waste my money.

I have an idea of who might like this....
been considering one of those kits, but I have to solve the basic issues first:
1) how to get a hard enough erection (as it seems to vary depending on how turned on I am)
2) how to maintain that erection long enough to make the mold (it's likely to wear off as soon as I turn my attention to making the mold)

The instructions say you don't have to remain fully erect, as long as when you slip into the tube you are. I was shocked on how fast the stuff set. So really as long as you have a solid hard-on at the beginning the mold will take care of the rest....almost like memory foam! haha
