I've been heavily considering a Vertical Clitoral Hood piercing, and am curious about a few things.
1. Is there anyone on here that has one (what does it feel like?)
2. How long should I wait to have sex after being pierced?
3. Would you recommend it?
4. What is the likely-hood of it tearing out?
5. I have had piercings done before, and currently still have my Industrial and Tragus. I didn't find that these piercings hurt, but does the VCH? I normally don't care about the pain level of a piercing, but these are my lady pieces!
Any other information would be great!

I don't have one personally, but know others that do. One complained that 10 years later, she had almost no sensation at all and could no longer achieve clitoral orgasms. Wouldn't the damage be immediate if there was any though? Interesting topic.
I don't believe it would be immediate. If the piercing is done right, there isn't a threat tio the clitoris(which is why I'm more likely to get a VCH than anything else). Over time the clit "toughens" apparently due to constant contact with something.

You shouldn't lose any sensation if it is done right.. mine turned super sensitive when I got it done. then after a while went back to the pre-peircing state...
Umm without sounding like a real slut:D I have never had complaints from other partners infact most have never encountered them before lol... Hubby did did get a bit of a bleeding tongue when I had my pointy one on tho lol
I have a HCH peircing Close but not the same .. hope this helps
1. It Feels very good at the start .. I used to be able to orgasm just from walking with it rubbing on my clitoris .. now that I have had it almost 3 years it takes a little more then that..
2. I think it is recommended that you wait a week or so.. but alas I was that turned on with it that I only lasted 4 hours ;)
3. Yup if you want one get one I was 40 when I got mine. always wanted one but never had the nerve to get it done untill then
4. hmm not too sure I have never had trouble .. but care should be taken if you use toys with clit stimulators on them (lol my wascally wabbit did grab it one time )
5. Mine was done with numbing cream rubbed on 1 hour before. So I didnt feel a thing except the cold hands of the woman who done it.... When that wore off it was tender but not sore had more pain when I had my nose done
Also When choosing Jewelery for your clitoris make sure they dont have sharp points on them can be rather painful for yourself and/or partner lol
CBR or Captive rings can also pose danger.. if you get one with something attached to the ball... make sure the ring is big enough to have enough clearance if it turns upside down .. if not it causes it to pinch and that really is uncomfortable

Never having even considered any body piercing I can only comment on what the body does. Any foreign object in the body will be encapsulated and, eventually, expelled. With a piercing the body will build up tissue around the internal part of the piercing and the outer parts of the piercing will cause irritation to anything being rubbed against. This results in build up of tissue to protect itself from irritation and possible penetration. It is logical that a piercing will result in desensitisation over time.
If one did a cut away analysis of a piercing after a few months, the shaft inside the body will be encircled by "skin" leaving the piercing object "outside." This would happen on the labia, nipple, tongue, eyebrow, penis or whatever. And that brings me back to, yes, I had my ears pierced when I was about four years old. When I squeeze my lobes, I can feel a bit of a lump. Same thing would happen on your clitoral hood.

That appears to be the case.
Constant irritation causes the skin to toughen over time... like callus on your hands.
The same applies to men after circumcision. Many do it either because the doc said to do it for medical reasons, or he feels it'll be better for sex / visual appeal.
In the end, almost all men say they regret doing it, because they lose considerable sensation from the exposed penis constantly rubbing the skin / undies.
Just something to think about.
