Clit Piercing Question
Such a thing apparently is sometimes done (piercing the clit itself), but I think 95%+ of the people who are pierced in that area actually have the hood pierced, even if they sometimes say, in an abbreviated and misleading way, that they have a "pierced clit."
With the caveat that I don't have one (a piercing, or even a clit or hood, for that matter), and am just going on second-hand info:
The hood piercing isn't unusually painful.
It enhances clitoral stimulation (the vertical style, more than the horizontal), at least for some people.
Do the labia or hood instead.
I cannot imagine the clitoris actually being pierced. I believe the thing is actually through the hood.
I cannot imagina having such a thing done and the potential for infection is horrendous. My little rant.

You probably mean a hood piercing (everyone I know calls it a clit piercing too)...if thats the case I have loooooots of advice! 1. Find a good piercer and research his or her work (I will explain why later) 2. If you are looking for sexual stimulation go with a vertical hood piercing and have them do it with a curved barbell (some do it with a ring but you dont want to do that, it moves around when ur trying to heal it and can get caught) A barbell sits perfectly with the female anatomy. You would get one a little longer at first to make room for swelling but later you go back to get it changed and the balls rest perfectly on top of the clit. 3. If they try to talk you in to a higher gauge (18) DONT DO IT this can cause whats called the "cheese cutter effect" I dont imagine it is a very nice feeling. (type it in to google and check out the imagines ewww)
In anycase I had mine done 2x... I decided to do it on a bold whim. My guy friend went with me (to get his nipples done) but the only way I would do it was with a woman piercer so we searched around and found one. I should have done my homework first! She did it with an 18 g ring, and when she went to pierce she said oh ill have to do it off to the side a bit u have a vein running down the middle... I found out later that its a little ridge that everyone has... I loved it for like 2 seconds until it started ripping out!! I felt horrible and I had to take it out. I finally got the balls and went back to the guy who had done my other work to have it redone.. he looked at my scar and told me it was much to shallow (could have ripped out) and crooked so he did it with a lower g barbell in the right spot and it was amazing!!! I am talking 2 second orgams and sometimes when i ran up the steps haha. It was a very quick stab pain that was well worth it. There is so much blood supply to that area that it heals very quickly they say a month but I was completely healed in 1 week. You have to rememeber too that you wouldnt want to have risky sex while its healing because you have an open wound. All in all it was amazing.... one trick I learned is wear a skirt with no underwear to get it done then u dont have to strip u can just flip ur skirt up it made me a lot more comfortable.. Oh 1 more thing you can have your piercer check out your "anatomy" if you are well suited for a triangle piercing you are very lucky. I guess not everyone is but its very amazing stimulation-wise.
