i was just wondering if any of the women here have ever tried making their clit bigger and how. also wondering since the clit and the penis are somewhat similar would it be safe to take male enhancement supplements to increase blood flow to the clit in an attempt to make it harder and larger and also acheive better sensation.

clit enlarging

The only way I know of that permanently enlarges a clitoris is hormonal therapy. With enough testosterone, the clitoris grows into a very small penis. All the dangers of testosterone imbalance of course go with this.
If by male enhancement, you mean something like sildenafil(Viagra), then major companies have been trying to find a formula and dosage that works well for females for as long as it has existed for men. No study has shown enough success for it to be approved for women by the FDA that I know of(but I'm not a good source). Perhaps this link is appropriate.

If by male enhancement you were referring to penis enlarging scams, then no. If penis enlarging creams/pills/dancesaroundfiresonafullmoon worked then you'd see advertisements by major medical companies and doctor's offices and not random cheesy latenight commercials.
Some companies have marketed clitoral arousal gels with the topical vasodilator L-arginine. A discussion on these products can be found on these forums in the following thread

Some also try small suction pumps designed for the clitoris, which I have zero experience with.
Others seeking additional stimulation resort to more extreme measures such as clitoral hood reductions, hood piercings, or piercings that run underneath the clitoris to raise and expose it while stimulating the underside.
I strongly believe that one thing(or the lack of it) is so tremendously influential on clitoral arousal and sensitivity that it trumps all of the above many times over - anticipation.
To address your question, some context is needed. You mention sensation. Rarely is clitoris size related to sensation. The clitoral hood size can affect sensation and, in extreme cases, this can be corrected with surgery. The clitoris cannot be changed by surgery or anything else reasonable. Sufficient testosterone to enlarge the clitoris would leave you androgenous with a beard.
If it is a cosmetic thing to be bigger, forget about it.
