Circumstison ??

Please can somebody run through what this is i remember learning at school but did not understand. Is there advantages/dis ?

This site has two search engines. The internet has Google, Bing, Ask, and several other search engines. We politely ask that people avail themselves of these services before asking a question. More often than not you will receive information way before any of us can respond. You will generally find more comprehensive information. Brandye has discussed the advantages of being circumcised numerous times and as recently as the 30th.

Tnx,
-doc

Benefits:

1. Less Premature Ejaculation due to being less sensitive
2. Less chance of contracting HIV http://www.ted.com/talks/melinda_french_gates_what_nonprofits_can_learn_...
3. Some foreskins stop retracting resulting in painful sex.
4. a cleaner penis which brings its own rewards

and if your foreskin looks like some of the warty, oddly massed knobs I've seen -- PLEASE, have it removed. Yegods - like having a troll on the end of your penis. And "you want to put that where?!?!?"

No man wants to hear that.

But it is entirely up to you.

EvilEvilKitten do you have references for circumcision helping with premature ejaculation? Not saying I don't believe you, far from it. I am uncircumcised and suffer from this issue, so I'm curious to learn more. Thus far it hasn't been a huge problem since I do manage to get my gf off with my hands or mouth before penetrative sex, but it's frustrating when she's really getting into things and I have to slow down/stop to prevent the festivities from ending. I suspect she prefers the look of a circumcised penis also so it could be a win-win for both of us.

Circumcision is the removal of the Foreskin part of the Penis that extends from the top of the shaft to the tip of the Glans or beyond. The procedure is usually done immediately after birth, yet can be done anytime.

Usually by mid-late teens, the Foreskin has detached and can be retracted behind the Corona Rim. Sometime it must be manipulated for several weeks, best done in the bath or shower, in order to free it if it is still unable to be moved to and fro.

Having it retract makes cleaning this part of your body very easy; it is a hygienic necessity and a must do.

Not having a Foreskin means that the nerves in the Glans will eventually lose some sensitivity, yet with much of the world's male population in this state, this is not something to be concerned about. Hygiene is as easy as washing any other part of your body.

The major advantage of giving up the Foreskin is health--yours and your partner's.

* Because the nerves in the Glans are less sensitive than those protected by a Foreskin, P E is less likely.

* P E can be managed by not being on the raw edge of a climax when entering the vagina

* P E can be reduced or eliminated by enjoying a climax half an hour or longer before engaging in intercourse. (This is similar to having multiple orgasms in a string.)

* P E can be controlled by using one or both of the following techniques discussed in this article:

Squeeze & Training Exercise for Controlling Premature Ejaculation

I hope this is of help. Got questions?

Canton:

the foreskin protects the glans which is the most sensitive portion of the penis. When this is removed, the glans rubs against clothing and becomes habituated to a low level of constant sensation. This habituation decreases the sensitivity, in self-defence as it were.

While this is not a guaranteed pevention of premature ejaculation, it helps. What also helps is more experience, masturbating before your interludes with your sexual partner, and wearing a condom, which you should be doing anyway.
