Circumcision Question

Wasnt to sure where to post this so here it goes, Okay,i've just recently read that guys who have not gotten circumcised need to be extra hygenic below the belt, which is fine with me,but the question's this: What do Women think of Uncircumcised guys? because i have a gf and dont want her to think its weird, if it gets to that point.

Apologies if a thread like this has been posted already

I have never been with one. Sorry.

You have to ask them and your GF. But depends where you're living. On the USA it's common ground if I understand correctly.

In the US it's pretty common for circumcision. The areas where it may not be often seen are where clusters of ethnic groups reside. In all honesty, in all my years of health care, I can probably count how many uncircumcised men I have seen on my one hand.

Sera, doesn't the penis head become less sensitive in circumcised men afterwards, due to constant rubbing in clothing?

I heard that they had to thrust a bit harder and that we (non-circumcised) were more gentle.

Completely shameless defense of uncircumcised men, I know :D

I have heard what you said. But it's not an issue here, many work perfectly fine and don't have issues with sensitivity. I have never heard a complaint from a man saying "why did my parent's do this to me?". I am in NY, a bit upstate from NYC, and I think I have seen 5 or 10 uncut and they were older men. I have seen many penis's from working in the ER over 20 years! Now if you go into the city (NYC) the ratio's change since it's more commonly not done.

oh the loss of sensibility is slight, as far as I heard. They just like a bit harder sex to have the same feeling :D might be wrong of course, but I'm not getting a knife near there, thank you :D

The change in sensitivity is actually something that can be compared. It is not uncommon for adults to be circumcised for medical or other reasons and these people can give researchers a lot of data between the two.

The loss in sensitivity, Alban, is often quite dramatic over the years as the skin of the Glans rubs against clothing and skin and is exposed to the air.**

> They just like a bit harder sex to have the same feeling might be wrong of course

I tend to disagree because all anyone has to do is read the many posts delving into the problems of Premature Ejaculation. If harder (thrusting) intercourse was required, PE might just become a non-issue. As it is, PE quite regularly happens as a guy is slipping inside on the initial stroke. If not, then surely during one of the first few within the first minute or so.

> > i have a gf and dont want her to think its weird, if it gets to that point.

Fear not. If she does, then you should consider enlightening her about the matter that a "natural" man has vastly more sensitivity associated with the Glans--AS WELL AS--the Foreskin. Call it a doubling of your pleasure! Depending upon your overall sensitivity you may also have options for how you are stimulated. With the Foreskin forward, you have the double your pleasure situation of having all the nerves involved. If you retract the Foreskin and can tolerate having the Glans stimulated directly, then you receive a different type of stimulation and sensation.

If you wear condoms, try retracting the Foreskin and applying some lubricant just to the Glans before rolling the condom on. You may just discover that you are able to counter the dulling effect of the barrier better.

I'm sure there are women who have a preference for one variety or the other; however, as a well-read lay person I can tell you that from all the reading I've done, women in general are not terribly concered about looks or size; rather, they view the shaft of the penis as a combination throttle and brake over which they have complete control over their man's responses and progress toward climax. Another thing is that all those sensitive nerve endings whether regularly exposed or not, act as a sort of gear shift lever. I can only imagine what fingering the nerves of an uncircumcised Glans as a guy nears the trigger point of an orgasm must be like. Talk about lighting the afterburner!!

A 1996 study showed that 60.2% of U.S. males were "cut"; this is down from 64.1% in 1995. The trend for "cutting" seems to be increasing in the U.S. as the connection between HIV and cancer becomes better known.

This link makes for some interesting reading on the history of circumcision and not.

Do you find the subject fascinating? Here's more.

** In this report, it is stated that the U.S. is the only country that routinely circumcises their infant males. What is also stated in this report is that there is a 40% reduction in sensitivity. As large as this percentage is, one can only imagine what pleasure a man receives in his natural state. It must be very much near that of women.

As popular as circumcision is, the fact is that 85% of the world's males are uncircumcised according to this report. I looked through the link and could not find where this statistic was mentioned.

Thanks Doc :D I didn't know there were studies made already about the sensitivity. That's nice. I think people will think twice now about getting cut. :D

The other think we can infer from this, considering the data at hand, it that the loss of sensitivity can get you even more in trouble with old age where you need every stimulation you can get.

Which means uncut people will have certain types of problems later. :D yay

> The other think we can infer from this, considering the data at hand, it that the loss of sensitivity can get you even more in trouble with old age where you need every stimulation you can get.

I have only discussed this with a couple of older friends and have heard through the grapevine about one other older couple. It seems that the desire for sex declines along with the ability to have an erection while the ability does not. So, from what their wives report is that if "George" can get a "spark" then things work just fine, cut or uncut, erect or not. You do not need to have an erection to have an orgasm; although it certainly helps. What I find as contradictory is that older men continue to have randy thoughts yet little desire to follow through. It is the latter that needs a pill; and on that subject I am clueless. Maybe someday I'll find out if the little blue pill fixes both the erectile function as well as the desire to to use it frequently in the first place.

> Which means uncut people will have certain types of problems later.

Practicing good hygene throught life will help prevent any diseases. What problems are you referring to?

Typo. I meant that uncut people would have less problems later :) I was refering to impotence, a follow through of my logic, in that sensitivity might help keep things running longer. :) oh I know about being clean. Some people don't it seems and contract them :(
