ok as we all know, christmas is comming up, and i would really like to do something special for her, wiether it be romantic or sexual. i just really want to show her a nice time. any thoughts on somrthing i could do for her? like, what do women like that most (what are the best surprises)?

*we go on thing like movies, dinners, six flags (doesnt really count), i surprised her one time and drove her over 200 miles to San Fransisco for lunch, thing like that
just little things like making her a nice lunch, flowers, jewlery sometimes, take her to a picnic dinner on the river

Get her something with her favorite color...Or with her name and Birthstone... I have a necklace I got for my birthday with my name, birthdate and birthstone engraved in the pendant!

I would purchase her a locket to wear around her neck....you can also have them engraved...but since her father is an issue for you perhaps just something which signifies a "meaning" to you both. Wrap it in a large box with something small like a note....then a smaller wrapped box, again with something sweet...until she gets the little box with the pendant...do this with about 5 boxes wrapped....all containing the end product...
For years I have given my best (woman) friend earrings. Until last year I went to the local crafts fair or traveling fair like the Harvest Festival and made unique purchases. Last year I didn't find anything that I liked so went on Ebay and looked at several pages of hand made custom jewelry, specifically earrings. I ended up ordering from two vendors, one in Washington state and one in Hong Kong. Both orders arrived in a matter of days.
I'm telling you this because while you may not have made the present, you chose an item that was custom crafted and is unique and special. Her knowing this should make it even more important to her. These earrings do not cost a lot of money, under $30/ea. and some in the $9-20 range.
A lot of the times if you have any sort of craftsmanship abilities, she may appreciate something that you made yourself (assuming she's not the shallow type that only appreciates expensive things or fancy tech gadgets, $$$=love)
My wife likes coffee, so I purchased some clear glass coffee mugs and using liquid glass etcher, adorned the mugs with special sayings.

Well I would say whatever is in her personal interest
I want to purchase a Biggio Rookie Card for my boyfriend (still on the lookout)
Biggio is his favorite baseball player.. and my boyfriend loves baseball
and we all know rookie cards are better than any recent ones.. especially since biggio retired recently
Agentleman never embarasses a lady or puts her into a difficult situation when giving her a gift.
Therefore, give her something that a girlfriend might have given her - only she needs to know it was from you. Based upon that, I'd second Doc's choice - hand-crafted and cute earrings in a color and style that would suit her.
