Just a simple question, me and my boyfriend have tried a new position and he has been hitting my cervix lately, he says it feels really good for him, and feels good for me too, but I was wondering if there was any bad effects of hitting the cervix?

I doubt he would know and I doubt you would like it. Yes, it can cause inflammation and bruising to the cervix if tht is what he is hitting.

I've had it happen, and it never felt good... felt like someone hit my stomach or a sudden cramp. Since it's attached to your uterus, it's like everything jolts. lol
I wouldn't think it would be good for the cervix to be repeatedly hit...probably bruises it.
What about it feels good to him? Isn't it like hitting a wall?
I looked around but couldn't find anything saying whether it's harmful...most sites just gave tips on how to avoid it, lol.
I seriously doubt that he is hitting your cervix. I have never known of a woman who liked that and men, if at all aware, get no particular pleasure from hitting a hard lump on each thrust.
Its not painful for me atall, he is definately hitting something down there....and by feeling around it does feel like the cervix he must be hitting.
He doesn't hit it hard, it is very gentle around it, that might be why it doesn't hurt him because he just rubs against it, and I get a tingly feeling when he does it, it feels nice, not at all umpleasant.
So if bruising is the only bad thing, and he is doing it so gentle that it probably wont bruise it, then hey, i'm going to carry on then lol.
