cellulite

Most girls and woman regardless of their size and shape have cellulite, right?? so I have a question for the guys..when I look at myself in the mirror, I can see the cellulite..or when I see other girls at the beach..I notice it..so..obviously guys notice it too..but does it really bother you? like if you see a girl with nice legs and great ass (shape wise) is it a turn off if you notice the cellulite?? any comments on this??
When it comes to a females flaws, nobody will know better than her where they are.
too true too true... I made a passing comment on hating my lop sided breasts the other day... and my guy just said "really, are they lop sided??"

Man!!!!!!!! I mean, they are a C and DD cup. they are so LOPSIDED its not funny... when he finally got a chance to have a look, he just laughed and said something to the tune of "yup, your right, they are lopsided...oh well"

on the same tune, my guy was shocked when he learnt that I genuinly like his body... He's got body issuses but I love him body... I cant see a thing wrong with it, (well maybe the amount of hair... that seems to make it off him and into my mouth, bed, shower............. )

So my morral to the story... Any partner who is worth being with will forgive you the little inperfections, or wont see them at all... and exposing yourself as a real person and presenting your flaws should only make your relationship stronger.

Or thats what I think any way.

i dont totally know if this is correct but i will try.
guys and there tummies. they can be skinny and have lose skin that moves when they run. they can have big bellies that dont seem to flabber around.
u like the small bellie better but the lose skin may or may not be a problem for u. would u not go out with a guy cuse his bellie's skin is alittle fluttery. Some ppl would but not most. SAme with cellulite.I think it is only a small thing that doesnt open or close a intrest in a person.

Guys with some experience with women know that they aren't perfect, but they aren't looking at them like talent agents looking for models. Only a few guys are looking for trophy
type women. Those I've met struck me as anything but handsome....dressed very well, with fancy haircuts, and
ladies men attitudes...and very vain. Not your men among men guys.

A girl I was dating had a friend with very fat thighs and hated herself for it. She referred to her thighs as her cottage cheese even. Still there would have been many guys who would gladly been with her if she had only given herself the chance. I think it was more of a mental/emotional issue...and wondered if it had been learned it/encouraged to believe it from an older family member.

In my experience....this may sound strange.....the good looking guys tend toard the plain girls...and the trophy girls seem to find the less handsome men. Possibly not in every case, but just rule of thumb. Some of the beauties find older guys too.

When it comes to a females flaws, nobody will know better than her where they are. I know...I've been anoyed by girlfriends who think this is wrong or that shouldn't be there
or clothes show something that they don't think is flattering.
Please don't do this to the males of the species. We're helpless to do anything that can fix it....and are even more destitute for the right words to say to make it all better.
Most guys would be more inclined to name the irritating things
she does that annoys him....than to list all the little flaws of her body.

Doesn't bother me. Women are beautiful in all their forms.

Cheers,

Ringo

Many women do have it but there are ways to reduce it.  It usually shows up on women that don't have good muscle tone.  It's possible to be slim but untoned.  That is why even some slim women have cellulite and why some larger women don't.  Athletic women usually have less.   Well defined muscles give a smooth surface for body fat to lie against and so reduce the appearance of cellulite.  Also, since cellulite is fat to begin with, losing body fat will reduce cellulite.

As far as how the guys feel about this, I have no idea really because I'm a lady but I'm interested to see some more responses.

All women have flaws with their bodies. I not only have cellulite but also stretch marks. And even a few moles here and there. Ohhhhh the horror. LOL.

Wally is right. In that its the whole package that counts. I can stand naked in front of my man and peronally think I look gross but if I think sexy then he is drooling.

Here's the most succinct and clear reply I can think of:

NO.

The slightly expanded version: it's definitely not a turnoff when it's viewed as part of a total package. If you focus on it, I suppose it could become a turn-off because you're only seeing the cellulite, not the whole person and all the things that are beautiful about her.

I can assure you that if I'm on the same beach as you are and I see you, my first reponse is not going to be "Uh, oh, I think I see some cellulite."

And if that was my response, you don't want to have anything to do with me anyway.

Just be as beautiful as you are. That will be more than enough for most people.

I mean the thing is I am not overweight or out of shape or anything...I exercise regularly and watch what I eat. Despite this I still have cellulite...(and I am looking at my little sister..who's jsut 13..and she almost looks like me...-cellulite wise)....so I mean is it really noticable..and huge turnoff on someone that is not overweight or anything...???

I agree....there's a big differnce between being a bit overweight and the kind of cellulite that shows like bumps under the skin!

I'm gonna get alot of shit about this, but despite all the press about genes and stuff......you CAN lose weight, CELLULITE will go away with good diet and excercise ..it just takes time and dedication - which most folks don't have - or choose not to embrace.

People can live their lives anyway they want.....but we are a "visual" society..and while JLo has a HOT body and ass, we all know she has a bevy of private trainers and staff who help stars stay in shap. So, while the "celebrity" folks have the means to stay in shape, watch what they eat, etc......most mainstream folks still have to fight the "battle of the bulge" with limited resources and time.

So, that said, it just means we have to work harder at it! I know i did, and i like my body now. I don't eat and entire pizza anymore, just 2 slices..i no loger eat a whole pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, i just have a few spoonfulls after dinner - why? Because one day i looked at myself in the mirror naked and saw the beginnings of my FATHER in the mirror. A guy with man-tits, rolls of fat below my chest, chubby theighs and double chins.

Now, with some light excercise, lower portions and time......i see a much sexier man in the mirror..and see the looks of those aroudn me - especially at the beach and pool!

So, if you don't like what you see in the mirror..do soemthing about it..don't just chalk it up to "society's focus on skinny beauty, etc"......you have to decide to change!

If you choose to NOT do anything about it..thats cool too..but don't blame society or others because you've given up on yourself!

yeah but she's asking about the cellulite
i agree there is nothing wrong w/ a thick ass, its actually trendy now a days
but cellulite is totally different. its the bumps and indentions on your fat.
as they call it, cottage cheese thighs...lol ewwww
i saw a thing on tv where cellulite is most common in women and there isn't really any plastic surgery procedure that can help it. liposuction doesn't actually remove the cellulite...weird.

Usually No....a woman's butt & thighs should have a little cellulite.

There is absolutely NOTHING sexier - in the physical sense - than a curvaceous butt & somewhat thick thighs....only in our screwed up contemporary society have certain folks deemed a voluptuous shape & a little cellulite unattractive on a woman.

My advice is...RESIST THIS BRAINWASHING!!

Even though JLO & a few others have made a curvy figure more popular...there are still knuckleheads out there that are trying to turn women's bodies into men's....just know that most men & most of history (from the Stone Age through the Rennaissance to the middle of this century) is on your side!!

Curves Rock!
