I love giving mild CBT, mostly placing tight rings or ligatures to restrict the blood flow and make it purple and swollen, then working it over with my sharp nails and dripping hot wax etc. Leaving it in this state for no more than about 20-25 minutes, is there any risk of lasting damage to the penis? They always seem to return more or less to their original shape! However I have yet to meet someone who has had this done to them repeatedly over time so we don't know what might become. Does anyone know or have experience of this please?

CBT long term risks?

I do not know the meaning of "CBT" and the definitions at Wikepedia and other net sources clearly are different from what you mean. I am responding to the description of what you are doing.
Artificially restricting the blood flow out of the penis to keep it in an engorged state is not a good idea. In the short term, you will se no change. In the longer term, there is a potential for damaging the corpora cavernosa. The two "sacs" with spongy tissue that fill with blood to give an erection (there is a third) along the top sides of the penis are not designed to have the outward blood flow restricted. I doubt that anyone has studied what you are doing over a long period. Anyone who would study such effects would discaourage such practice. To remain engorged and purple means that it is full of "used" blood and the fresh blood is not flowing. This is simply not good for it.
This could, in the longer term, cause damage leaading to Peyronie's disease - we simply do not know what causes that but it seems to be damage to the corpora.
People do all sorts of strange things to enhance sexual feelings. This appears to be one of those strange things and long term consequences are simply unkown but the potential for damage is great.
This is a link I found about CBT; it's pretty graphic. I cannot see anything vaguely healthy about doing any of this...there has to be some very serious consequences and significant health risks. As Brandye said people will do all sorts of strange things to enhance sexual pleasure, this is just mutilation.

Holy s***, what I saw there, no human should be doing to himself or another human being. Or any animal, fuzzy or otherwise. And that was just the opening page. How the hell did you find that, Sera? No, do not answer; I really do not want to know.
I am willing to state that the guys into that stuff better REALLY enjoy getting of while they are young because they are not going to be able to when they are older. Infection, nerve damage, vascular damage, skin damage. Otherwise, I guess it is pretty normal.
About twice a year there have been things appear here that expand my sexual knowledge - into areas I do not care to know about.
That site is to much for me! I have a ring in each nipple & PA ring in my cock and thats all.
I searched CBT to find out what it was...that's was the photos of CBT...As disgusting as it is, perhaps someone here will look at them if they are feeling "interested" in trying CBT. Perhaps it may save someone some damage. Honestly, I have seen many things, this was an all time shocker...
ooh-err, this goes well beyond what I had in mind by "mild" CBT, though if consenting adults really want to do that stuff why shouldn;t they? Anyway I won't be experimenting with anything as severe as that for sure. Thanks for all the helpful comments though.
What does CBT stand for???
Johnny you said you like hot wax... did you see the guy using his penis hole as a candle holder? lol JK
Yea I guess if consenting adults want to do that... thats all well and good.. but if "it" falls off in 5-10 they'll have no one to blame but themselves!!!!
Demon:
It stands for "Cock & Ball Torture". I had no idea either; thus, the reason I looked it up & found the link & the graphic pictures.
I agree w/consenting adults doing as they wish, but what I see from the pictures, it's self-mutilation of the genitalia. I believe what is shown, will eventually render your penis useless in a very short period of time. From what the OP describes, it's not the same rather a spin off of CBT.
What I cannot understand is performing an act which will cause long-term damage to your sexual organs, through cutting off the oxygenated blood supply. I think the risks far outweigh any short term benefit.

I like hot wax play but not like that, indeed I couldn't watch all of that video, I think those clips depict CBT play that is more extreme than usual. As for acts that might cause "it" to fall off in 5-10, did you know there are people who even carry out their fantasies to have it removed voluntarily and many more that fantasise about it but stop short of carrying it out? It takes all sorts to make a world, or so it seems.
Johnny--
I searched the net and this was the average of a few of the sites. In all honesty, I debated to post the site-link or not. Why did I? Because I hate to see someone read this thread, think there might be a new "sex-act" to do and rather then get themselves into a mess, there is a direct link to what I found. Maybe it's extreme CBT, maybe not, it appeared to be the average of what was depicted. Perhaps it will provide someone with information before doing something outrageous and dangerous.
And, people do things for many reasons as you stated; I would have to question [regarding the pictures] if it is for sexual enjoyment or is a manifestation of mutilation caused by an underlying psych. issue to damage one's self. Much like wrist slashers, and self-mutilators. For many it's a disease.
Extreme or not, the entire genre of self-mutilation is a mental disease. In my small clinic we do see (and refer) self-mutilators - usually teens. This is simply a specific mutilation of the male sex organs and it indicates some deep underlying problem.
Consenting adults? I doubt that anyone who would those things to his own sex organs is capable of consent. And I guess doing it to one's self requires no consent.
Thanks, sera, for bringing this seemingly small thread starter out into the light. It is sick behaviour. And we have seen a few similar posts lately - stretching labia, distending male urethral opening, catheters. My god; and people tell me I am messed up because I really like menstrual sex.
That's some sick ****.
The feeling of having something shoved down your man hole is awful. It's prob one of the most uncomfortable things ive ever experienced.
Hey, "Hit" me up. HEH-HEH-HEH. Do not think that all what you see on BMEZINE is CBT. What goes on at that website is EXTREME BODY MODIFICATION. CBT for me is ball squeezing, slapping, kicking, kneeing, various toys like parachutes etc. Finding women to do so with good conscience or not charging to do so....
Just my words. Want CBT VIDS? Let me know.

And there was I scanning and filtering all those sites concerning Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.....:(
The site now seems to be down which is perhaps as well from my point of view.:D
