Should you try this please heed the safety issue...both for yourselves and other road users. This might work, however in our case we never let it go that far. We've done it while driving down the highway but always stop when my foot begins to mash the accelerator!! In addition to what was said above, I'd just caution you to use this as a tease and to stop when he begins to become distracted or his right leg stiffens, etc. Don't let it get too far and never let it get out of control.
