As one who has had may clitoris battered by inexperienced men, ask her when to ease up and bear down. As sexual arousal progresses in a woman, the clitoris first becomes erect and can peek out from under the hood. As arousal progresses, it actually retracts (still erect but backs up) because sensitivity is increasing. At this point, or if the clitoris is being directly rubbed, the sensation can become so intense that it is painful.
