My boyfriend smokes.. he has been smoking since he was about 12.
If he were to have a cancerous sore in his mouth or something.. and I were to kiss him.. could it spread to me?
is there anyway I could get cancer from him?
if he were to smoke and I were to kiss him.. would the cancerous substances that were in the cigarrettes spread into my mouth??

Absolutely not Dirrty LiL Duckie. Cancer is not a contagious disease. Be gentle with your boyfriend in encouraging him to stop smoking, and let him know it bothers you and you're concerned about him, but be free of worries. Don't let him smoke around you; make him go outside to smoke and strongly encourage him to stop, but don't badger him.
Cancer is not like a virus that just spreads by coughing on someone. Cancer is a mass of cells in the body which have are growing at an uncontrolled rate (simple version). To even try to pass it to another person, you'd have to inject cancerous cells into their body somewhere and get them to grow. I'm not sure its possible at all, but you definetly won't get cancer by kissing him.
However, ANYtime that he's smoking around you, you're breathing second-hand smoke. It is just as bad as, if not worse than, what he is sucking in.
