Hi
I want to ask a question :
if there is a little blood in some water, lets say a pile of water that i spilled on the floor, and there is a drop of blood ( one drop only ) in the pile of water, and if i touch the water now, will i get infected , if the blood has HIV in it?
also , I know that you can get infected if your body absorbs an infected person's blood. so what if his or her blood goes in the little gap between my finger and my fingernails? does that count as absorbing blood? because it looks red inside the gap.
thanks a lot guys and girls

YAY !! IM MIND FREE !! YAY !!
thanks so much
i hereby bow to you with honor
The HIV virus cannot live outside the human body.
It is spread, mainly, through unprotected sex... anal OR vaginal. There is said to be some risk with oral... but that's mainly if there is a possibility of open sores (like bleeding gums) in the mouth... and I don't know that there has ever been a proven case of HIV through oral sex.
The second biggest risk is sharing needles.
The virus has to go from enclosed body to enclosed body. Simply touching contaminated blood or bodily fluids won't do it.
I hope you aren't TOO paranoid about this.
