Yes, I have done it a few times by accident. It happens when I am masturbating and then change my mind at the last second about whether I am ready to cum or not, and then the whole thing passes before I can make up my mind.
Orgasm happened by the load is still... loaded. Very unsatisfying.
I know I won't be believed but I can control it and have had sex many times where I orgasm and "hold back". My vote is that he just isn't orgasming (is thst a word?) I myself love my GF to take me in her mouth but I don't always cum that way. This is just my theory but I think it has something to do with not being in control of the thrusts as in conventional intercourse. Perhaps he is sort of like me in this respect. As someone said, try useing a hand for strokeing also.
