Actually I bought that exact cock ring for my boyfriend to use... alas it didn't happen.
The only thing is, when I pulled it out of the packaging and felt it, it isn't really made of rubber... more like plasticy rubber. It doesn't stretch and the ring isn't very big around... I was just afraid that might be pretty painful for the guy, if the hole wasn't big enough.
But I agree, that the best cockring is one that both partners can enjoy. They sell all kinds... some with vibrating mechanisms, others with little nubs that stick up to stimulate the clit, and others that are just rings. You'll just have to find what works best for you.
