bruised throat

Hey! So I was having some pretty rough (oral) sex with a guy and afterwards my throat started hurting. I thought I was just getting sick or something but after about 24 hours it now hurts so badly that I cannot swallow anything without searing pain (this includes my own spit). I have no fever so I feel like I'm not just sick. Could he have accidentally bruised my throat?

You may also want to reconsider your decision to allow this sort of thing.
Doesn't seem to be worth the pain.

Yes. He could also have abraded the top of your esophagus or, even, damaged the larynx or partially torn a tonsil. If this pain persists for 24 hours, you MUST see a doctor. We have heard everything so do not be too embarrassed. The possibility or damage is real enough that you should not ignore this.

No. not like that. If you do oral sex with some pain killers or local anasthesia or some sort of that, you will get hurt and you will not know what has happening inside you. There are some tubes which work as LA. But never use it while doing oral.

Addicted2sex...mind you. oral is not for pain. It is for fun.

Didnt you realise when it was happening!! Or did you take some sort of pain killers or some sort of that. One should never do oral sex with some sort of local anashesia or pain killers.

So I went to the doctor today and he just tested me for strep, so I guess I just have bad illness timing. I wasn't on any painkillers or anything, but I was fairly drunk and I know that can have a similar numbing effect. Thanks so much Brandye for the prompt feedback. I was mildly freaking out.

the body releases a kind of painkiller when aroused enough
its why some people are turned on by pain
