Hello, everyone! I have been reading the board for a while, but haven't posted much of anything. However I now have a question that I couldn't find an answer for, even with the search functions.
I am getting married soon, and want to put together a fun, sexy, lingerie outfit that I can wear comfortably, and that my fiance will really enjoy. I haven't really worn lingerie before, and I'm looking for suggestions, ideas, web sites, and anything else that you have for me! I do have plenty of time (months, still) so I can afford to shop around. Money is more of an issue, but not a huge one. So, ladies and gentlemen, what is comfortable, easy to wear, and will make his jaw drop? Also, my dress is a variation of the second one pictured here: http://katrinamariedesigns.com/one_of_a_kind_bridal_gown.htm so anything I wear should work with that style.
Thanks so much for your help!

Bridal Lingerie: Thoughts, Ideas, Suggestions

i really dunno what to say, if ure not used to wering lingerie, on the one hand it could be really fun to do so on your wedding night, on the other hand if you're not used to it maybe it will be uncomfortable, but i hope not...
and no my answer isn't just cuz im jealous ;) Lol
my bf says we can get engaged.. .next year.. maybe lol
congrats
a bf many years ago once bought me a brown satin baby doll outfit... perhaps not your typical run of the mill lingerie, but then again your dress doesn't seem that way either...
also your choice could depend on your body type, certain looks of lingerie complement a person better depending how their body is made... of course i really can't give advice on that, i usually either sleep naked or wear plaid jammies lol...im sure u could go to a lingerie shop and ask for advice, they probably get those kinds of questions often enough... bring a friend if you're shy, i know i would lol ...
Victoria Secret, let it be your best friend ;)
Just reading the words 'Bridal Lingerie' gets me hot...
I don't know if this suggestion is 'compatible' with bridal gowns in general, but here's what would make me want to jump on my bride and 'devour' her:
1. merriwidow or corset; the former is probably better unless you don't mind not being able to breathe during the ceremony
2. Some sort of lacy undies made of absorbent material that will get soaked with you - sliding your hand down into a lady's underwear and feeling the wet fabric is really thrilling
3. garter belt with stockings that have lacy tops
In my opinion, this would be just delicious... you should probably whisper to your man during the ceremony, "I've got a surprise for your eyes only. It's under my gown..." or "I might be wet right now... but you'll have to check for yourself!" He would probably be frothing at the mouth and desperate to get you into the bridal bedchambers ASAP... :D
So, if you'll excuse me, I'll be back in a few minutes... ;)
Thanks for your input, everyone! One thing I really want to know is: what colors do you like? I can put any color under my dress, as it's lined and heavy enough that nothing will show through. Do you tend to like the same colors that are your "favorites" or do you have other preferences? I know my man loves blue and green, should I wear those or choose something else? Yes, I am clueless!
Also, I do actually have one corset that I know my man loves, so a corset is definately a good possibility. In fact my corset is the only thing I own that comes close to being lingerie, and it's meant to be worn on top! :)
The colour depends on what kind of mood you are trying to convey... if you want to come across as a "naughty" bride who is seducing her new husband, black would be the ticket. (My ex did black lingerie under her outfit once and it was smokin' hot.)
If you want to come across as more 'innocent' so you are 'taken' by your new husband, white would be more appropriate. White is so commonly associated with brides, weddings and bridal-wear, it's really hard to go wrong with it.
You can never go wrong with black or red!
Garter belt and stockings. Sexy heels. Doesn't matter what color.
