Men and women usually have quite different precursoryn mental conditions prior to orgasm. Possibly mens fondness of visual stimuli combined with the stimulation excited their imaginations resulting in a plethora of neural activity.

I find it funny that the males really could not be tested in the short length of time. Just shows the attention span of a man.
Hmmm... I guess it would be news that women's brains shut down during sex... we've known that about men for years.
