I tend to think that if an issue exists, it's more that you
keep your eyes closed instead of open. Sex to me if a connection of bodies and souls. The eyes are the window to the soul so if your eyes are closed...so is the window.
Also, from another standpoint, it's really hot watching your

Maybe he just thinks you are beautiful and likes to look at you. My boy likes to watch me and my face when we are having sex. You do have a connection when you look eachother in the eye. Myself, I like to close my eyes and focus on the pleasure.

the only way of really knowing is asking him. he may want to see ur reaction to make sure he is pleasing you. it may turn him on to see what his partner does while he is having sex. there is always the possibility that he is not getting pleased and he wants to see if u r. those are all possibilities but u will never truly know until you ask him. but if it makes u feel uncomfortable you should talk to him about it.
