[URL="http://www.slide.com/channel_finder?pcid=i7XYJEBLRFoIKW4d48H6TI6lol_CTDs..."]My favorite books
here is a link to easily browse my small but growing quality book collection

please inquire about any books that catch your eye, or feel free to make a recomendation

Chuck Palahnuik huh? Very cool... my B/F has a few of his books that I need to read, he definitly has a twisted way of putting things, lol.

I like to read fantasy stuff like by Neil Gaimen (ATM I am reading Bad Omens) . I also like Dean Koontz.... the Odd series is the best...waiting for the new one in paper back.

A series I would recommend to you that I just finish is by Charlie Huston.
His writing is so awesome...1. Caught Stealing 2. 6 Bad Things 3. A Dangerous Man.

You should check those out :)
That link is cool... I'll have to do my own slide show... if I can remember the stuff I've read, lol.

Looks like a commercial site to me.

and demonbutter cup thanks for the recommendations. i got a few books in my collection unfinished and i may look into those ones later on

I designed that page myself to share the books that i LOVE, and specifically to tell people about books that they may not have or ever would hear of.

And I also find any opportunity to spread the word on amy hempel.

She is the master of short story minimalist writing.

Her work is amazing. I have just never seen writing (thats not poetry) done in such a beautiful artistic way.

Check it out yourself The Harvest by: Amy Hempel

and the sad part is you cant really find her work in libraries or book stores (well most of them you wont)

so yeah this is a commercial, its an advertisement to something that i love and that has had a profound affect on my life.

My desire to share that with as many people will NEVER subdue.

I am certain that Slide would be interested to know that. Must be huge amount in legal fees, alone, for the privacy, user rights, terms of use, etc.

Thats not my problem. I just wanted to talk about books.

Not really interested in talking about the legal ramifications of putting pictures on a website slide show.

If it offends you or bothers you report it.

Its really not of my concern.
