I was just wondering what side of the family do you get the size of your boobs ... your mom or dads side......? Or does it not work that way ... thanks!:D

Boobs genetics

[QUOTE]Is breast size hereditary? I heard it is, but I’m nowhere near the size of my mom.
Yes, breast size is primarily determined by heredity. However, genetics can be very complicated, and the genes for your breast size may have come not just from your mom, but also from your father’s side, or from more distant relatives you don’t even know. So many girls will have a breast size different from their mother or their sisters. Remember that breasts are normal whether small, large or in between.

I found this on one website.
I wouldn't think it comes from always one side or the other.
It's like any other body part. Kids don't always have their mother's eyes and their father's nose. It's just a random variation of both of your families.
think back to 8th grade science of Pascal's chart. you don't fully get a certain trait that either parent has. both parents carry TWO sets of traits-dominant and recessive. which means that together you have a one in FOUR chance of inheriting specific features.
Sometimes they come from the plastic surgeon lol
The idea that the genes come from both is valid. Look at your mother, her sisters and your father's sisters. And older sisters you may have. That will give you the best idea of how large you will become.
Mine definitely came from my mum's side!

There are many more factors that effect inheritance of certain features.
The best way to know is to look at female relatives from both sides, but even then don't assume anything. Your face looks different than your relatives' faces, and so will your breasts. Just like the size and shape of your nose may come from any of your relatives or be totally different, you don't really know.
