blue balls?

i'm on some new medication that doesn't have anything to do with sex but it said it may have some sexual side effects. well, it did. usually i have no problem cumming, actually its usually the opposite. but the other day i had sex for like 45 minutes straight but never came. then, the next morning we went at it again and it was the same story. i've masterbated 3 times since then and came 2 times. now my right testicle is getting pretty sore and i have no idea why. i'm at work so i can't look at it and see if there's any visual difference. what are the symptoms of blue balls? do they really turn blue? am i a candidate? what can i do to get back to normal? please help me, i'm in pain.

It's true..I LOVE TO GOOGLE.....
the internet is your friend.
especially google.com  lol.
Did you learn that from Rawbob? I swear I've heard him say exactly the same thing...

the internet is your friend.
especially google.com lol.

I just wanted to say "Wow" to thetease. That's the most complete definition of "blue balls" that I've ever seen. Good job!

If you are able to ejaculate at ALL you dn't hvae blue balls. If you were f***ing for 45 min straight, then went at it again in the morning, then masturbated to orgasm 2 times, well, your "balls" got a lot of banging around......but...as long as you can ejaculate (by sex or masturbation) without pain, you are probably just fine.

I would bet that your "not cumming" is in your head, and that reading the side effects put that in your head and it's coming true. If you medication is just for a short term, get thru the meds and i'll bet things get back to normal sexually for u!

yeah
beside i thought when meds like antidepressants and such say "sexual side effects"
that usually it effects your sexual drive and the ability to get an erection. ive known people to have these problems.
Rawbob is right tho.
not everyone has the same side effects. you might not even be suffering from any side effects but reading it psyched your brain out and now your worried/

i'm a google nerd. always have been.
most of the time rawbob beats me to the punch though. lol.

from here

"Blue balls" is a slang term referring to testicular aching that may occur when the blood that fills the vessels in a male's genital area during sexual arousal is not dissipated by orgasm.

When a man becomes sexually excited, the arteries carrying blood to the genital area enlarge, while the veins carrying blood from the genital area are more constricted than in the non-aroused state.

This uneven blood flow causes an increase in volume of blood trapped in the genitals and contributes to the penis becoming erect and the testicles becoming engorged with blood. During this process of vasocongestion the testicles increase in size 25-50 percent.

If the male reaches orgasm and ejaculates, the arteries and veins return to their normal size, the volume of blood in the genitals is reduced and the penis and testicles return to their usual size rather quickly.

If ejaculation does not occur there may be a lingering sensation of heaviness, aching, or discomfort in the testicles due to the continued vasocongestion. This unpleasant feeling has popularly been called blue balls, perhaps because of the bluish tint that appears when blood engorges the vessels in the testicles.

from here

Although blue balls can feel uncomfortable, the discomfort goes away fairly quickly. If a man is extremely uncomfortable, he can masturbate (or ask his partner to masturbate him) to orgasm. However, there is no danger and no pain if he does not reach orgasm. So, guys who say that they are really suffering and must have vaginal intercourse to relieve their “blue balls" are not really telling the truth.

so yes...blue balls are really blue.
but it seems to me, you probably just have a side effect to your medication.
if you're extra concerned, go see a doctor.
