I had sex for the first time with my new boyfriend yeasterday. He is pretty thick, and although it didn't hurt, after it kind of burned a bit when I urinated (like it had ripped a bit) and there was some blood.
Today though there is still blood. It reminds me of period blood though (darker in color). There's not a lot, maybe a drop in my underwear and some when I wiped. I am on the pill (we used condoms though still) and my periods have been regular. I just got off of it last Thursday and I have been taking the pill regularly.
Any thoughts?

how long have you been bleeding for?
Its normal. The reason for the burning is because you probably did rip a little, very typical. Some girls will still bleed a little a day or 2 after their first time, just so long as its not heavy blood flow your fine, if you're still finding spots of blood in a week or so though you might go get checked out, but to me it sounds like your perfectly fine
I have been married 15 years and my wife still sees blood when she wipes after sex. It is just fissure tears...nothing to worry about. You could try more lube next time maybe.
Make an appointment to see your gynecologist or registered MD. Ya need to see a doc. after your first time anyway.

I hope you're not relying on the internet as your only source of information, and I also hope you make judgements on the worth of some advice that you're offered.
For the bleeding to last a little while is normal, but don't take my word for it, chat to your mates and if you still have any doubts go to a clinic/ nurse/ doctor.
meh it'll go away. main thing is to have sex a lot more often and then it'll heal a little bit wider.
my current girlfriend was told she needed estrogen cream by a doctor for a while as i was tearing her at the opening there.
