I just want to make sure i am takin a safe birth control i looked up the side effects but i want to hear from other women thier opinions on the birth control thx.

You do not indicate which Loestrin you are taking. The Fe (ferrous sulfate added) may elicit different answers from the plain Loestrin.

If you have "looked up the side effects," you have the story. Every woman reacts idiosyncratically to each different pill. Some women will love Loestrin because others caused them issues; some women will hate it because it causes problems. You will only get individual responses whilst looking at a list of side effects will give you an overview of what others report.

If it is on the market in an advanced nation, it is safe and effective. All marketed hormonal contraceptives have about the same safety and effectiveness records. Loestrin uses the latest synthetic hormones. Some women report more problems with these than with older, and cheaper, synthetic hormones. There are cheaper ways to go but safety and effectiveness do not vary measurably from pill to pill. Else they would not be approved.
