I'm on the pill Loestrin24Fe and it has four brown pills at the end of the pack that don't have hormones for when I have a period. I usually don't actually start my period until like day 3 of those pills. My question is: if I had sex without any other form of birth control on those first two days of the brown pill, is there any way I could get pregnant since I'm supposed to be having my period during those days? During those first few days, I'm not bleeding, but I'm not taking a hormone pill either so I wanted to be sure if it was safe. My husband and I have a vacation planned and I want to fool around on it but I don't want to get pregnant either.

The pill woks on your cycle and not a "day by day" scenario. You are protected while taking your placebo pills. You can check out the sticky "The Pill - caution take only as directed". It pretty much explains all of it.

many years ago when I got married, my wife was on the pill and we faced the same scheduling question. She called her doctor and he said the same thing, but also told her that it was also ok to skip the placebo pills for one month and just continue thru to the next month, mostly so there was no additional mess to deal with.

Well EEK judging how people are taught abstinence is the only BC and that most girls fear taking bcp for anything other than period regulation is "slutty" it doesn't surprise me in the least.

Yes! I think it should be mandatory that everyone have sex 2 times a week minimum. This way everyone is happy and perhaps the wars stop

My minimum is whatever I can do without it killing my results in the gym/work.

I say 2 times a week which turns into about 12 hrs. Not because I last 6 hrs a session. I consider each session from the beginning till we decide to stop (be it 4 or 8 orgasms later). My friends laugh when I say I get it 1 time a week. Little do they know the "1" time is from 7 am to 6 am and usually is dozen orgasms haha
