Are you likely to become pregnant when u take the last "inactive" birth control pills

I take loestrin 24 fe. I tried looking on their website for an answer to my question, but couldn't find anything: so here I am. There are 4 inactive pills in the pack (brown pills/sugar pills). Are you likely or more likely to get pregnant during those inactive pills if someone ejaculates into you? I don't understand how birth control is still effective when your off for 4 consecutive days. I did read that when starting a pack of birth control it takes 14 days (to be safe: 30 days) for it to become active.

As I recall, BCPs have 3 weeks of active pills and 1 week of inactive pills - mimicking the natural menstral cycle. The short answer to your question is: NO, you can't.

BCPs make your body think it is pregnant by introducing into your system the hormones that would be there if you were pregnant and once you're pregnant, you can't get pregnant again - kind of a double jeopardy thing.

So there you go. Unless your BCPs work differently, NO is your answer.

Have him wear a condom anyway since it is his job to protect you from disease.
