Contraception Confusion

Was wondering if anyone could help me.

I take Dianette and a few days ago I was on antibiotics (amoxycillin) for a chest infection. I finished my antibiotics and was having the 7 days with extra protection because they are contra-indicated. However on the 6th day I forgot to take my pill until the next evening when I took both. I would take another 7 days off but the problem is that tonight is my last pill in the pack.

Do I take 7 non-pill days now or do I have to go straight onto a new pack. I didn't have a break in my pack the last month.

I don't want to take the 7 days off and find out that I go back to being non protected even after 7 days but I'm unsure what to do.

Pleas reply soon, My last pill is tonight so I will have to decide what to do tomorrow!

Let us assume that you made it through the regimen of amoxycilin and the missed pill. You will likely be safe.

To make certain, I would suggest that you start the new pack just as beginning originally. Use extra protection for a week and be careful during the days of the placebo. Bummer, but be safe.
