My doctor told me that the IUD can sometimes move into an incorrect position. If I were you, I'd see your doctor/gynocologist/clinician and tell them that you are experiencing pain. The pain could be caused by anything such as an infection, incorrect position of the IUD, etc. However, as Brandye said, there is no chance of knocking it out of you. After the IUD is put in, the cervix goes back to it's normal size (or at least close to it) and therefore makes it pretty much impossible for it to come out. However, I think it is possible for the IUD to come out (not due to sex). Not entirely sure of that but I do believe it is possible. Of course, I may be wrong about it coming out so if I were you, I'd contact the medical professional who inserted the IUD.
