Girlfriend and I just stopped using condoms and we're scared......
My girlfriend and I stopped using condoms recently because she has been taking birth control for a while now. We even waited longer than the recommended 3 months that the doctor recommended to stop using condoms so it was well in her system.
The problem is that were both scared because I've never ejaculated inside her before. So after going two straight rounds (both of which I ejaculated inside her) we're kinda worried the birth control won't work. She takes it every single day at the same time and never missed a pill. Is it normal to be worried? Thanks for any help. |

If 100 sexually active women are protected by condoms for one year, 15 will likely become pregnant. If on the pill, 3 will become pregnant. Both of these are real world and not the ideal found in books and marketing information.
You are safer now, by a factor of five, than you were before. If you use both properly, the chances of pregnancy are approaching nil - actually, one-half of one percent. I have never heard of a doctor saying to wait three cycles for the pill to kick in.
