I'm confused
My gf and I have started to have anal sex lately but I don't use a condom. Niether of us have any STDs so does that mean I don't have to worry? And if I do what should I worry about?

The worst urethral and prostate infections I have treated in men resulted from unprotected anal sex. The stuff in the rectum is being jammed into the urethra and there are lots of bacteria looking to set up residence in a nutrient rich environment of semen and urine.
I do not favor anal but recognize that it is here to stay. Regardless of disease, a condom must be used for anal sex. You are risking difficult to heal infection all the way to, and including, the testicles. When it gets there you will learn the meaning of pain.

And also pregnancy b/c if you notice, the anus is VERY close to the vagina. Most of the semen leaks out when you ejaculate in her butt and pull out. Especially if you are in the doggy position or any "from the behind" position.. the semen due to gravity will leak directly down thru the vaginal lips. Wiping it away doesn't make it GO away!
Anal sex doesn't get you pregnant.. but anytime semen is in the general vaginal area.. pregnancy can occur.
