Skipping Birth control questions

My girlfriend decided to skip her period for Prom about a week ago. She went to her doctor who gave her instructions, approved it, etc. The switch went well and she was able to successfully skip. She's now about two and a half weeks (roughly) from getting her period (note: she's not skipping this time, she's back on a regular BC cycle) and she's been getting stomach aches at roughly the same time every day.

She likes to have my rub her stomach when she's about to get it and having cramps. This period is usually about a week before she gets it. When I rub her stomach, it feels bloated like when she typically is about to get her period. Is it possible for her to get her period early because she skipped it last month? It was her first time skipping. She has no no spot bleeding or any bleeding at all. Once again, when I rubbed her stomach it felt just like before she was about to get it, however she's still pretty far off on when she's "supposed" to get her period. I just want to make sure that it's possible to get it early or if it's possible to get stomach aches around the same time every day before spot bleeding occurs.

Thanks, we're both just feel a little weird about stuff because of her skipping for the first time.

Brandye is a jewel in the rough
First, she is to be commended for consulting with the doctor before doing this. It is something I discourage but would prefer to have patients ask about rather than just do it on their own and then freak out.

All things are possible. What is most likely is that she has accumulated more "stuff" in there than she is accustomed to. The lining did not strip off and now there is additional lining accumulating. This is not unusual and can be a problem with some of the other hormone systems that yield a reduced number of periods each year.

She will not likely get her period until after this cycle of pills is done. She may have some spotting but then that happens without exceptional intervention. I do not know why this is happening by the clock each day.

She can think of this as going through an extended time of pms.
