HPV Questions

Ok. I met this girl. We became extremely close quite quickly and although neither of up are looking for a relationship since we both have been going through love problems but we have talked about possibly having sex. She then admitted to having hpv because her bf of three years cheated on her and then she caught it from him. Idk what strain she has but she said it isn't causing warts or anything and that her doctor said it would go dormant in a year and she wouldn't have to worry about it. Now i thought it never went away so can someone clear this up for me. Also what are my risks? I mean as far as performing oral on her? Sorry if this is poorly written i am on the site from my phone cuz i don't have a computer anymore.

Yes, periods do attract bears. There was a primate experiment at Cambridge many years ago that got all messed up because women wanted to see the cute monkeys. The smell drove the monkeys wild. Even the researchers had to avoid the animals during their periods.

Now, HPV. It is most likely that the woman has one of the four HPV strains that cause cervical cancer. That is why the doctor would be checking. In women under thirty, these are usually defeated by the immune system in a year os so. As we age and the immune system weakens a bit, these four settle in and cause 70% of all cervical cancers. These usually have no symproms in men, BUT, you then become a carrier and your next unprotected partner would get that gift. It is estimated that fifty percent of all people, men and owmen, are carriers by the age of fifty. It uis distinctly possible that you are already.

There are over 100 forms of HPV. Many of them do nothing that we are aware of. Some of them can affect men. She needs clearer information from her doctor. You need to know what you are dealing with.

We really do not know, Beckeh. It is believed that the younger immune systems will throw it of. In the meantime, it can have been shared with many women.
