question about STD's

both me and my girlfriend were both virgins when we first had sex together.. we have never slept with other people at all.. we use the pill as our contraseptive method as she really hates using condoms.. neither of us could obviously get an STD from it surely but what about a kind of infection??

Infections happen occassionaly and they aren't std's. It's good that you have confidence in each other but there's a lot to be said for every year or so bot of you getting tested at a walk in clinic or some such. Sexual health is like every other health aspect, it pays to keep on top of it.

Your question is not well asked. Who is infected? What are the symptoms? How do you know there is an infection?

Both genders are subject to urethral infection with or without sex. Wmone can develop vaginitis and men prostatitis - even without being sexually active.

Think it out and ask again.

I'll try to word mine more carefully.

Is is possible to get a kidney infection from sex? My partner and I are very active, to the point that one or both of us will be tired and/or sore for days after our weekend meetings. I recently went to see my doctor after one of these escapades, and found out that I had developed a kidney infection.

Could this be from a lot of rough sex?

No, kidney infections will not occur as a result of sex except in very rare cases of disease untreated earlier.
