condom sizes

I have never bought a condom before or anything like that, so I am clueless.

I'll probably buy a trojan because it is a name brand. But I know they have different sizes like "magnum". My question is what size do I get. I am pretty sure I am a little longer than average and a little thinner than average.
And if it helps, I once tried on a condom that I was given. It didn't specify what size it was, so I assumed it was normal size. It fit pretty tight, but I noticed that when I was masturbating it would move around a tiny bit. Also, is the end of the condom supposed to touch your stomach, or is it OK to have a little bit of the shaft exposed?

I also have an unrelated question. When should one pursue the morning after pill? Every morning after, or only if the condom breaks? What are some signs that something went wrong?

Please go through the indexes if you are preparing to have sex and have never bought a condom before. That little bit aside...

Magnum or Magnum XXL are usually necessary for girth, not length. Magnum is about 10cm longer than a regular condom, and Magnum XL is the same length as magnum but with even more width. A regular condom should probably be fine for you if you are only slightly longer and thinner. Try looking at places like www.Condomania.com for insight.

Also if thinner, you might want to try polyurethane or polyisoprene. I haven't tried the polyisoprene, but my gf and I greatly prefer the polyurethane feel to latex. Polyurethane's issue is that it's not very stretchy for girth.

You should pursue the morning after pill *now* before you have sex, and keep one at your place and your girl's. It's effectiveness is based upon how soon you take it after an accident, so having it on hand is very important. She should only take one in case of an incident such as the condom slipping off, breaking, or the two of you forgetting one. Also, you should invest in spermicidal foam/film and apply it inside her vagina with an applicator prior to sex. Condom on you, spermicide in her.

Have fun

I don't really like trojans. When you open them, they smell up the whole room with latex. The best I have used is the Durex Extra Sensitive. No latex smell, plus they are thinner so you can feel everything better, and I have never had one break on me. I am on my 3rd box. (I think there are like 32 per box or somthin) I am pretty sure it won some kind of awards too.

Does the fact that they are thinner mean they are less protective to STD's and pregnancy?

Honestly, I don't care about feeling the inside better. It might even help me last longer if i wear a thick condom!

If you're looking for thickness, you might want to go with a tube sock.
LOL Just kidding.

No actually, the award it won was it being more durable then most normal condoms. So it is safer AND feels better. You arn't sacrificing safety for the extra pleasure, it still does its job, better then most. (imo)

The reason I swapped from Trojans was the smell, too...
