ok so i had my appointment yesterday and i got pill samples.

also a prescription for after i finish those but i cant start the samples until the sunday after my next period and i think im ovulating right now so it should be about two weeks until i start taking them. so as long as im ovulating right now, im not pregnant right? i should have asked him to give me a pregnancy test yesterday, but if i am then couldnt he tell when he examined me from the inside?

You start the pills as the doctor directed.

Very few women know when they are ovulating since it can occur during various time throughout the month. Many do not know their bodies well enough to detect the changes.

Assuming you are ovulating, if you have not had sex then no you will not be pregnant.

As far as the exam, changes which occur to your body take time to show such as changes in the cervix. So a physical telling if you are maybe a week pregnant? Don't count on it. I would check with the doctor since many will do a urine analysis & a urine preg test routinely.

If you are in doubt, or if you believe there is a chance you are pregnant speak with your physician. Or wait out the next two weeks.

i can tell when im ovulating because of the thicker clear stuff that comes out only when its happening.

I certainly hope you are not trusting this "indicator" as a method of birth control. Even the most experienced using the rhythm method have high rates of failure.

No, hadla, he could not tell if you were a few days pregnant. You need a test to determine that and you need back up birth control for the first cycle.

It sounds like you got the presecription and got laid in the wrong order! Now read the stickie on Take Only As Directed.

Do they do a PT during your annual? I know last time I went, they took a pee sample and was sticking all kinds of different sticks into it lol. I don't know what all they were testing!!!
