BC question

i started my four white bc pills 3 days ago today, so i have one left. i have got my period yet. How long does it take normally??

And i took one of the white ones late, does it matter since they are the non-active ones???

What brand are you taking?
I am assuming its Yaz or one of the new 24 days cycle ones.
It doesn't matter really about the inactive ones... I don't even take them (altho some brands these have iron, etc in them). They are mainly there just to keep you in the habit of taking it everyday.

Is this your first pack of BC pills?
Mine is the regular 21 active 7 inactive pills.
My inactive ones will start on a Sunday but I do not usually get my period until wed sometimes even thur morning.
So yes... it does take a few days for the hormone lvls in your body to drop so that your period can begin.

Oh yea about BC and antiobiotics.
Is this your first pack of pills??
Sometimes it takes 1-2 to get your body used to it.
Of course then the debate goes.. when are you "protected" on your first pack.
Some say first day... the package insert will say 7 days.. but my DR and Brandye too suggest one full cycl (pack) and using a backup method during that month.

this is the end of my 2nd pack!
the first one it came on my 2nd pill. today is my third and still no period.

Wait it out a bit & give it time. No sense in worrying right now and if it's driving you insane go and get a pregnancy test. The test will show positive (if it is) by now.

It'll be fine.
Like in the commercial for those EPTs it'll say "results 5 days before your missed period"
What I did was buy 2 tests. Take one tomorrow morning. If its negative but then you still haven't started your period in a day or 2... take another one.

ok, so i just got my period!
YAY
BUT NOW, can i still be preg since i only had the unprotected sex a 1/2 days b4 the non-active pill!!!

im sooo paranoid haha

Likely not
Some women can have periods when pregnant..but thats usually very rare.
If still paranoid... buy a PT and check for sure.
And be more careful next time!!!! :P
Be aware of taking your pill and cautious of taking any other meds that might interact. If having to take an antibiotic..remember to use a backup method.
