Scared

So iam a 16 year old, male. Around five days ago i was having sex, and my condom broke ( I did NOT climax, i was simply moving positions and when i was pulling out the condom was broken ) It may have broken as i pulled out, but it also may have broken while i was inside.

The thing is iam afraid of the chances of contracting an STD. The girl i was with has had sex with a few other partners, she says she never has sex without a condom, iam just very paranoid. She has not noticed anything ect. and she is very confident in the fact that iam just being negative ( I understand women have a higher chance of never having symptoms)

I do not have any symptoms from what i can read, no soars, pain or swelling. Iam just wondering if all STD's give at least small symptoms, because if i notice anything different i will go for testing. But as a 16 year old spending 200$ for testing behind my parents back would be noticeable when my next paycheck is 'gone'.

I just need somethign to put my mind at ease, it has really made me look at life better and really tell my self to never put my self in compromising positions again.

Planned Parenthood

Try this site... and also check w/ them in finding a close one to you, or even a Health Clinic... they usually have free or cheap testing.

$200 for an STD test?! Holy hell!
Although I hate England, it's things like that that makes me glad I'm here where things like that are free.

Yeah, Health Care in the US sucks. Try $375 a month for insurance.

At least you probably wont have to wait hours to see someone. Waiting lists here are awful & the hospitals are dirty.
I think id rather pay to get a decent service.

ok if i were in your shoes this is what i would do.

trust this women to an extent.

try different condoms

and in 6 months get an over the counter aids test. (hiv takes about 6 months to manifest in a form that is detectable)

you mail it and call a hotline for results (50 bucks)

and in 6 months keep a watchfull eye for any symptoms of the herpes or the bacterial diseases.

The most like diseases are clmaydia and herpes. herpes cant be tested for unless you have an outbreak (well you can but its not trusted) and clamydia will show symptoms and is very treatable with anti biotics.

Dont go nuts trying to gather money for a test, just be safer and keep a close eye on your activity in the neatherland. and then get checked for hiv in 6 months, cause of all things that is THE NUMBER ONE WORRY!!!

im not telling you to not care, iam trying to tell you to calm down cause your gonna make this women feel like a dirty diseased slut when you have no real evidence to do so, so be concerned but give her the benefit of the doubt cause its just respectful.
