How Long until affective??
I have a question. I'm getting a married in a few months and my fiance is going be going on the pill soon. We're saving ourselves for marriage, so it should be awesome wedding night
 but anways, how long does she have to be on the pill for her body to become used to it to be affective?

It does vary by pill however when this question has come up before, the general safe answer is for the woman to complete the cycle she is on plus the next one.

My pill pack said I was protected after 1 week, but my DR and Brandye both advise one complete pill pack.
So if she starts soon, she'll be good.

it depoends, if she starts on the first day of her period, she's protected straight away, however if she starts anywhere in her cycle it takes 7 days. This is what it said in my pack anyway
