this is so backwards
i've been on the pill for almost a year. i qualified for Planned Parenthoods program where they basically covered my pelvic exam/pap smear and birth control pills for a year. now my year is almost up, i have a different job, which has insurance. so now, i still qualify for income level, but they change the rules so i can't get on the program again just because i have insurance, even though my insurance doesn't cover the pill.
so in other words, planned parenthood will give a 13 year old an abortion and not tell her parents, but they won't give a married, responsible 21 year old the pill because i have insurance.....talk about rewarding bad behavior. |

Not everyone sees it that way, when I was 21 I was engaged, building a house, working and going to college. Just before my 22 birthday I was married...loved every minute of it, never regreted the decision, and never felt I missed out on a thing. But the drinking age was 18 then so I had my share of fun years before. Sirene...it all depends on the individuals maturity, some of us did not miss a thing out there, we had our time to play...it's not kissing "our lives goodbye", you have a great deal to learn yet.

actually i got married a month after turning 19. before that, i hadn't dated before 18, and between 18 and 19, i only dated 3 people, the first two i only went out with once, and the last was my (now) husband. i am not a people person. the overwhelming majority of people get on my nerves and make me want to beat them over the head with a 2x4. so when i met someone that i could feel comfortable with, that i could have intelligent conversations with, that i could honestly say i loved and who loved me, i had no reservations about saying yes when he asked me to marry him a month after we started seeing each other.
