My gf took them counter clockwise and well i just wanted to know if that is bad or not because the first ones are white and then they change colors as they go clockwise

hmmm
How does one do that?
My pill compact doesn't even let you spin it counter clockwise.
Each pill has a different mg of hormone is my understanding. Depends on the brand, some pills are the same mg each pill.
I take ortho tricyclen lo, and it has 4 colors. White, lt blue, dk blue, and green (I think is how I remember it goes)
I believe it starts out low then gradually builds up the level of hormones, (or also might be the other way around)
Anyhow, the very last color of pills (green for me) are the placebo pills which have no hormones and those are when you have your period. (some "period" pills have supplements like iron... again.. depends on the brand)
If your g/f went the wrong way, then she took a week of hormone pills, a week of nothing, and then back to hormone pills.

I hope Brandye can clarify somewhat, but just make sure you guys are using a backup method. How long has she been on the pill?? Was this her first pack I am guessing??
Most DR's suggest using a backup method that very first pack of pills, before you consider yourself "protected". Your g/f will might be all off cycle now, and need to finish another pack correctly.

i use ortho try-cyclen lo, and it doesn't have a fancy dispencer. its just like the way you get allergy pills at the grocery store, the plastic piece with foil on the back and you push the pill through the foil and it pops out the back. it just fits in a plastic case with holes in the back where the pills come out, no fancy twisting.

but i don't know if it will cause the pill to be less effective if taken backwards....

Yea I had a dispenser like that when I used to get them cheap at my Univ. clinic. But now that I get them at a regular chain pharmacy, they come in a dispenser w/ only one hole, and you twist them to the right to be able to get the next pill.

Even then, each pill on the pack has a corresponding number 1-28.
If it didn't matter what order you took them.. they wouldn't come in 3 different colors (strengths) and be in a certain order.

I guess dude isn't worried about it anymore tho, b/c he hasn't came back to reply or ask any more ??s
