ezdick is on a distinguished road
need ur 2 cents

Hi, Im not new to the site but this is my first post. I hadnt seen my ex in almost a year and then one night 3 weeks ago we were at a party and got really really trashed and ended up having unprotected sex.
Afterwards, we decided to try and go at another relationship. She says shes had one partner from our time apart and they had only had sex twice (each time with a condom). I had one partner as well and had sex only one time (with a condom) but I was given unprotected oral sex from her.
During our first relationship, we had unprotected sex often without any known problems or complications. Recently, however, she developed a "second degree" yeast infection (i use the quotes because Ive never heard of that) and upon a further doctor's visit, she said she had an STD.
She wont tell me what kind it is or her symptoms and she is positive it came from me. I dont see or feel anything out of the ordinary and I want to get tested but Im in between jobs right now and have no money or insurance for a test/treatment. Any suggestions and or comments? I could really use some help on this one.

When she said "second degree" yeast infection, i am guessing she meant it was a yeast infection contracted from another person. From what I have heard (don't quote me on this), men can have certain STD's but experience no symptoms. Is she getting treatment for this STD? I would recommend using condoms with her, and as soon as you can, go get tested.
And lastly, you two are together in a relationship but she doesn't trust you enough to tell you what STD she believes she contracted from you? You may want to think about this relationship.

Good luck~

There are free clinics you can go to that should be able to help. I wouldn't have sex w/ her until you both are diagnosed and treated. Who knows, you might go to the DR and not have anything.

I agree w/ Girl's last statement. If she is blaming this on you, but not willing to open up and even let you know what she has?!?!
That's not appropriate in any situation.

Check on-line or in your local phone book for a clinic or check with your local Department of Health for testing and get it done pronto! She needs to clarify this for you, perhaps she is saying she contracted a "secondary" infection?

Both of you should get tested. We can each be carrying disease with no apparent symptoms. A yeast infection is hardly an STD (we all get them) but the two of you can be reinfecting one another. Use condoms until everything gets cleared up and you may have a future!
